Evi Baniotopoulou

Evi Baniotopoulou is an art historian and museologist. She has collaborated for a number of years as a freelance consultant/researcher on multinational arts projects funded by the European Union. In the UK she has acted as a freelance researcher for the Museums Association and the Policy Studies Institute and is currently an art consultant for art4business. She has also held positions at, among others, the Royal Academy of Arts and the curatorial departments of the University College London Museums and Collections and Tate. She has curated exhibitions and projects both in the UK and abroad and lectured on contemporary art and exhibitions. She has published in research journals and has given papers and chaired panels in numerous international conferences. She is a member of the Association of Art Historians (UK), the Comite International díHistoire de líArt and the Museums Association (UK).

Evi holds a BA (Hons) in Archaeology and Art History from the Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Greece and masters degrees in Modern Art and Theory from the University of Essex and in Museum Studies from University College London. She is currently researching her thesis on contemporary art exhibitions at Central Saint Martinís College of Art and Design and works as a freelance curator.
